Hengji Zhang, 1993, Ph.D. in Engineering, graduated with a PhD in December 2020, an excellent graduate of Tongji University, an excellent doctoral dissertation of Tongji University, a visiting scholar at the Pavement Research Center of the University of California, and is currently the chairman of Shanxi Yellow River Frontier New Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd.

At present, he has published more than 40 authoritative journals and conference papers in the fields of roads, environment and materials, including more than 20 SCI searches, 17 SCI papers in Q1 area and JCR Q1 area of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, more than 10 invention patents applied for/authorized, and 2 participation standards.

He has participated in the completion of many key scientific research projects such as the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Sino-US Intergovernmental Cooperation Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Key Project of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. He won the first "Special Prize of Science and Technology of Shanghai Traffic Engineering Society", "Second Prize of Science and Technology of China Highway and Transportation Society", and "Excellent Paper Award of World Transportation Conference".
